  Warning! If you're thinking about signing up for this service, do NOT check a service like GoDaddy.com or NetworkSolutions to see if your preferred name is available. Unethical companies monitor those searches and register almost every name that someone is thinking of buying. Most often the name will be available when we go to register it. If not, we can cross that bridge when we come to it.
• Email service: We'll set up your email so that any address on your domain sends to your preferred email address. You can make up stuff like jobs@stevesportscaster.com or kbbl@wendyweather.com and they'll automatically get forwarded to your Gmail, Yahoo or university email address.
• Hosting: You don't have to worry about uploading files or finding a web server -- everything is taken care of.
• Video and Photo conversion: We'll make everything look pretty for the web.
• Design: We'll customize any of our web site templates for your use, or design something from scratch for you.
• Search Engine submission: We'll send your web site to all of the major search engines, so people can find you from anywhere on the web.
• Visitor Tracking: You can see in real time who's looking at your page. We'll also provide aggregate stats every week.
• Resume Feedback: We have seen lots of resume tapes and real television news over the last several years, and we'll let you know honestly what we think works and what doesn't.

What We Need from You

• Video: Your completed resume tape on video. It will eventually end up in Flash Video (.flv) format, but you can get it to us as a QuickTime movie or on a MiniDV tape.
• Photos: Several photos of yourself -- preferably some posed headshot-style pictures and some "action" photos of yourself in the field. (These can be stills taken from your resume tape.)
• Resume: Your "paper" resume. It will eventually end up in Acrobat .pdf format, but you can also send it as a document from Word (.doc), OpenOffice (.odt), or WordPerfect (.wpd). You can also send us a link from any of the popular online office programs (Google Docs, Zoho, etc.)

Payment

The cost is $175, which is a good investment in your future career as a journalist.

You can pay by check or through PayPal, which is the common payment method used on eBay.
