Since I am an online news junkie, I have a good idea of what people expect from a web site as an immediate news source and what frustrates them.
As you can see from my resume, I have substantial experience running news web sites. My most rewarding experiences working with BYU NewsNet's web site came during high-stress situations like our all-out blitz during LDS General Conference and the fast-paced webcast of a university conference, with four different sources streaming live at the same time. I enjoy the rush of getting the right information out there as soon as possible.
I have always prided myself on having impeccable grammar and punctuation, which certainly helps when you're cleaning up news copy for publication on the web.
